After losing to Colorado 65-56, Nebraska's HC Bill Callahan will meet with Tom Osborn tomorrow. Everyone around here expects a resignation or a firing. Callahan didn't reveal anything new in his postgame interview after the loss to Colorado.

Look for a huge push for Pelini...

i dont think many coaches will want to go to a program after firing a guy that went 9-2

I think it has more to do with Callahan's West Coast/Spread offense. They are tired of the experiment. I think the Cornhuskers want their power I, smashmouth football back. They want their Blackshirt defense back. They want their respect back.

They like Pelini's intensity and style. Pelini is the word around here.

The AD that engineered that firing is gone, won't be a factor going forward .

Yeah, after having Kansas hang 76 on them and Colorado 65, I'm sure their defense will get SO much better w/ Pelini at the helm. (sarcasm off)

Have they watched LSU's D recently? Is there something that we're missing?

I don't think so...

He had success at Nebraska and apparently his defense worked well in the Big 12. Read and react.

As we all know, it isn't working worth a crap in the SEC(even with all that talent at his disposal). Our style is attack, attack, attack, put a ton of pressure on the QB and shoot the gaps.

I say hit the road... Let the Cornhuskers have him. They would be thrilled and and most of us would be happy that he's gone.

If I were Osborn, I'd go get Solich again. That guy was good for 9 wins a yr and I'm sure Neb would take that now.
