Beating TAMU is as meaningless as it was last year

So, other than liking him as a person (as "one of us"), and other than emotional kids loving him (they loved Miles, as well), why is beating Arkansas (who should always be beaten by LSU, but is now somehow a "big win" due to Coach Miles' ineptitude) and a way-down Ole Miss team sufficient to give Coach O the HC job?

Seriously. I'll support him if he backs in as the coach, but come on people.

Help me out, folks.

If we had lost to Arkansas and A&M there would be mass suicides and claims of the world ending. That gives the victories meaning.

I agree the win doesn't earn O the coaching spot. But it certainly isn't meaningless. Especially to those of us that have to live in Texas surrounded by the delusional ones in maroon.
