Have any other teams ever played a championship game with 2 head coaches?

Les Miles - LSU
Bo Pelini - Nebraska

Just wondering?

If you count it as "former" Div 1 head coaches, then LSU has 3.

Miles (Okie State and LSU), Crowton (LaTech and BYU), and Pelini (former interim HC at Nebraska).

I'm certain there's lots of instances where assistants have gone on to be HC elsewhere. Carroll w/ Orgeron at USC for example.

Pelini is in a special situation. His new boss Osborne had a few NC's himself, and clearly wants Bo to get the big game experience. If the stars hadn't aligned for this game, not sure Bo would be on the sidelines.

I don't think Mike coached the NCG....bob took over dc duties after mike took the arizona job.

They talked about this on ESPN the other day. He officially wasn't a coach and was working for ESPN on the sidelines, but around halftime he picked up a headset and started coaching

Richt coached FSU to a 13-2 loss to Oklahoma. I'm not sure if Richt is taking credit for that 2 pts though.
