I look at Kines like Dick Vermeil. he was an afterthought and many thought he would never coach again, but low and behold he takes the Rams to the Bowl

He's 69 and has been retired for 4 years. How long do you think he would be our HC? There's no way he would leave the program in better position than it is now. On top of that, I don't even like his style of defense.

he's not that much older than Saban and he actually loves and cares for the people of Alabama and besides, scheme don't mean crap without the players. let saban play his scheme without all the players he paid and see what his record would be. Kines may even end up being more successful.

Isn't he 7 years older than Saban? I don't even think Saban lasts another 5 years.
