Bama fans - would you want Houston Nutt for OC?

His conservative, run-first philosophy would mesh well with Saban. Nutt always called the plays at Arkansas, and we almost always had a great rushing offense and that's what Bama thrives on.
What do you say Bama fans? Saban did recommend Nutt to replace him at LSU.

Fat Freddie Kitchens will be the next OC...

Man I should punch you in the throat for even posing such a question.

Possible, but far from certain. The next guy will be from an NFL background and their is familiarity with Kitchens (both him w/ T-Town and Saban), but he's not a lock at all.

plus when Saban leaves, he could just step into the HC job since Saban is sure to recommend him....

No way in hell does Freddie get the call. We saw how that worked out with the Golden Boy from Texas. There is no way in hell a first time signal caller gets a shot at UA.
They will either promote from within or go out and poach an OC from a mid-major school.
frickin Freddie Kitchens? A career TEs coach? Are you kidding me?

it would take one game for Saban and Nutt to go to fist city

I wouldn't be totally opposed to Nutt. I liked his offenses a lot at Arkansas. His inability to develop a QB would make me second guess it though. Our run offense would be sick under Nutt.

I wouldn't trust Nutt to even be the towel boy.
