Daniels also has a tendency to get ultra conservative when he's not confident. That's not a good thing when your down two scores late in a game. Your QB has to be able to grip and rip even when having a bad game.
Last year? Ok. I think Daniels killed that narrative this year.

Yeah the Bama we were right there in it until the cheap shot. And you're ignoring his play late in competitive games against Arkansas, Missouri, Florida, and A&M.
