I really can't believe some of the so-called loyal fans are really wanting the best coach at LSU to leave! What does it take? Can you guys remember when 8 wins was awesome? Be careful what you wish for!!!!

No, most people on this board are spoiled, my dad would have jumped for joy if LSU won 8 games in a year when I was a kid.

your right, over tha past 2 years I have come to be disgusted with my fellow LSU fans. a coach could come in and go 13-1 every year winning a MNC every 3 years and poeple here would want to fire him because he missed out on 2 of them.... fricking retards.
Not that I think he isn't leaving, he is.. but to have contempt for him like some of these idiots do is just sickeniing.

32-6, no SEC championships no N/C with maybe the most talent in the nation the last couple years. Miles team was loaded. He wins with talent not with coaching. He will never be a championship coach.

I would like Coach Miles to stay, but if he wants to leave, what can I do to get him to stay? Contribute another $1,000-$2,000 a year to TAF? The man has to make a decision that he believes is best for he and his family.

and you think the talent gap between us and the rest of the SEC is so big that he should just win every game by 40 huh?

I remember the late 90's too well not to like Miles a lot.
Given a few more years, Miles would probably win a MNC at LSU. If Mack Brown can win a national championship, Les Miles can sure as hell win a national championship. Unfortunantly, Miles is going to leave for Michigan.
Either way, the team has a great recruiting base and a ton of talent to sustain the program for 3 years.

I want Miles to stay but if he leaves then i wish him all the best. Hell, i might even pull for Michigan. I am a little happier now that Bo is gone. I just want to win tomorrow. Anyway it goes, LSU is a dream job for most coaches so im not too worried.

The VaTech game was the best game this team played all year. Each week it either won on talent or got WORSE. Thats coaching folks.

What's the difference? He's gone. He will certainly be remembered as a good coach for LSU, but this is a Coaching Changes Board - so that's what we are talking about.
