are there really very many fans on one of the extremes as regards to O?

they want O now, or never O?
I believe most are like me - coach O has done some good things and should be considered. He has to win out first. the administration should look for a top coach who is a good fit, and if we can't get that guy and O has won out, I'll be happy if he's hired, recognizing we could do a lot worse.
why do I say that? continuity, for one thing. recruiting, for another. and he has a lot of head coach qualities. every game matters to this team.
what are you hearing in your circle?

O is Mike Archer and Jerry Stovall rolled into one.

A lot of reactions here are emotional.The decision makers have more information than anybody else here and they will will make the best decision based on the information they have and what they think is best for LSU. It may not turn out to be the best decision but nobody can guarantee a home run hire in advance.
