Aranda's future is Texas if we don't get him.

I think Arsnda is a risk but his ceiling is extremely high. He's got a great temperament and the players seem to love him. Woodward goes after smart coaches and there is no denying Aranda is extremely intelligent.
If we don't go after Aranda I see him at Texas in a few years. I don't know if he's the right fit at LSU but I would hate to miss out on him if he turns out to be the next Saban.
I'm glad Woodward is here to make the decision. Hopefully he makes the right pick and we all give the new coach a chance no matter who ends up leading the Tigers.

Id be very dubious of taking that job. Turning into a coaches graveyard. I think Sark is a good coach and look whats happening. Hell, I still think Herman is a damn good coach.

It's year 1 for Sark, and he's currently has the No. 6 class. I don't think the timing will be there for UT and Aranda.

Because UT has A LOT more shenanigans and political BS than LSU, it's a fricking nightmare over there

Aranda has been an assistant out west, in the Midwest, the SEC and now a HC in the Southwest. I wouldn't be surprised if he landed out west. Everything is about timing.

For the Same reason LSU does not gire coaches from ULL. Texas does not hire coach from Baylor.
