Aranda as a HC

How do you think he would do? How has he been as a recruiter? Do you think him + a dynamite OC could be a solid combination in the SEC?

I really don't see him as a college HC at this point.

He's more of a tactician than a political type HC. I worry more about him going to the NFL as a DC than a college HC.

I think he just really realllly likes to corch defense. His articulation truly reminds me of another coach.

No telling until he makes the jump. He's a great coordinator, but there is no telling if that translates to being a head coach. There is a lot more to running a program. Managing personnel. Dealing with boosters. Recruiting. Probably a lot more than even that. Some would say that it's better to learn those different head coach skills at a smaller school before trying to make the jump to HC at a major school. It seems like the more typical path. Smart made the jump from DC to Georgia though. I guess we'll so how successful he is at that more long term.
