Third straight trip to the national championship game in their league (regular season + PLAYOFFS) is pretty impressive.
Shocking upset of Michigan in Ann Arbor and it wasn't against Michigan's practice squad.
Why isn't this guy being mentioned for Div 1-A coaching searches ????

Because none of the big schools will sign him.
The other coaches to go from lower-division winners to D-I teams went to lesser schools with *one* exception, which was Jim Tressel at Ohio State.
Brian Kelly went from multi-time D-II champ Grand Valley State to Central Michigan.
Paul Johnson went from multi-time DI-A champ Georgia Southern to Navy.
The schools who would be willing to hire someone like the App State coach are likely to be the shittiest jobs in the country, like Duke, where it would take a great coach to turn around such a bad situation.

We dont have the system in place for him. More of a west coast/NFL type offense. QBs dirt slow. The one guy who could run that type of game(Bass) got hurt and looks like career done.
If joke...haha forgot to laugh :P
