I like everyone else on here feel that Miles pretty much has already talked to and accepted an offer from UM. Now, with that being said what if LSU beats UT by 21 in the SECCG, WV and Missouri lose putting LSU in the MNC!!!

Obviously all these coaching rumors and moves have taken place b/c of our loss to Arkansas last week b/c noone thought that we could get to the MNC so Miles would be done with LSU after the SECCG as coaches leave all the time before their bowl games, but what about leaving before the MNC GAME IF IT HAPPENS??

What would Miles, UM, LSU, Pelini, Nebraska and all others do at that point b/c LSU's season would not be over until January 8, 2008!?

you know what WOULD be funny?

Miles leaves, that scenario happens, and they DO get Saban in time for that game.

oh man, would Miles look like a fool.

Not when they play in BCS bowls like the Sugar. Even if we beat Tenn. and still don't get into the NCG, we still play in the Sugarbowl. I doubt he'd leave before that.

I don't think that UM or LSU would allow him to coach in the Sugar Bowl simply b/c of recruiting and how it will affect it. You can't be paying a coach to recruit for one school (UM) and game plan for the Sugar Bowl for another school (LSU)! This would NOT work on either end!

I think Miles to Michigan is pretty much a done deal like Houston Nutt/ Ole Miss was a done deal before Arkansas played LSU.

Obviously nothing is a complete done deal, but the timing certainly looks like Michigan wants Les Miles.
