Only if we get Herman. I'd rather pay too much for Jimbo than get Grundy or Fedora.

You really havent been paying much attention to this site have you? Every thread that had Jimbo against Herman head-to-head the fans picked Herman in a landslide.
Everyone would be happy with Jimbo. But everyone also, when push comes to shove, would rather have Herman and its not just coaching ability. Aranda has much to do with that sentiment.

This is the second year in a row they've talked shite about taking JF from FSU. Now they'll say Herman was their top guy all along. Best part? Herman isn't a done deal

FSU values Jimbo. Just ask the fans in this thread.
ETA: And ALL of the FSU fans wanted the increases in his contract. Not a raise, but all of the other requests. Assistants increase in pay, shadow staff, etc.

What I don't understand is Alleva's fascination with Jimbo, and besides all of that I don't trust him or the present leadership of LSU to hire the correct man for the job. I am so hoping they get a great coach and they keep the coaching team in place. If not our recruiting class possibly disappears and then where will we be.
