Alleva led Duke to its most successful decade in school history, and top to bottom LSU's athletic department is the strongest its been since that huge 03-04 year we had.

He inherited one of the best basketball coaches in history and inherited the best (by winning %) coach in LSU history.

He the only leading he did at Duke was that witch hunt against the lacrosse team.

And Skip inherited Saban, Henry, and a slew of other good coaches that people laud his tenure over.

One coach doesn't count for the entire athletic department. Alleva made multiple good hires at Duke, and the school won over 10 national titles while he was there. In fact I don't think a single one of them came from Coach K during that time.

Also I love how so many conservatives on here that hate the media can't even acknowledge that the lacrosse scandal witch hunt was beyond absurd. To hold Alleva accountable for what happened is ridiculous.
