Alleva / TAF at fault for "cost of Jimbo"

GG's laterst article "Sexton gouging.." depicts a less than rosy picture of the current negotiations with jimbo reps. If Jimbo is not hired by LSU early next week TAF / Alleva have no one to blame but themselves. It would be the end to a disastrous 12 months. Not only would they have ruined a complete LSU football season, in the end, when all the marbles were on the table, they couldn't make a deal and/or pull the trigger on what, an extra $250k - $500k? It's sad, pathetic and inexcusable.
Tiger nation should make it clear to Alleva / TAF that anything less than jimbo is NOT ACCEPTABLE and that Tiger Nation will be in full and open REVOLT if they don't lock Jimbo down ASAP. Their fault Jimbo is now in a stronger position, their fault they will have to pay him more.
Suck it up and WRITE THE frickING CHECK.

Not surprised by this at all. Sexton knows lsu is desperate to make a big hire so he's going to make lsu or fsu pay big big money. Fsu isn't going to lay down and let fisher go away because they will be in scramble mode to find a new coach

That's ignorant and if he ask for too much $ I would make Herman say no then go get fedora who by all accounts wants the job and is a great offensive mind. Familiar with this region in recruiting.. Had unc winning more than ever... Develops good qb play.. Setting all kindof school records.. This dude doesn't get enough credit for what he's doing at unc. To be in top 25 recruitng at fkin N. Carolina should ease people's worries about recruiting. Now if Justin fuente shows interest I would probably rethink fedora.. Otherwise we would be pleased with him at Lsu soon. Dude can flat out build one helluva dynamic offense with the talent at Lsu.
