Alabama is expected to hire Sal Sunseri as defensive assistant

He’s currently the Florida DL coach.

He previously worked at Alabama from 2009-11. His son Vinnie played at Alabama from 2011-13. And is a current GA at Alabama.

It is good timing that Chris Wilson was fired as the Eagles DL coach. Worked for Mullen at MSU and coached DL at UGA under Grantham.

What?

Sal was a beast recruiter for Alabama during his previous time in Tuscaloosa.

Let's see, since then you've got FSU and UF fans both complaining about how his recruiting did not live up to reputation. Maybe, just maybe... Alabama's recruiting skews the perception of who is actually good at it.
