I interned in the LSU Athletics Department from 2009-2011. I maintained a couple of contacts. I left the sports world after receiving a very nice opportunity to work in security, due to my Marine Corps service. Eventually I ended up working for Post Malone. I didn't even know who he was at the time.
Anyway, the guys I know aren't high on the totem pole, but I've found their information to be reliable. The latest before this was that O would remain HC until the end of the season, but the search actually started after the UCLA game. Possibly before, but that's when they first heard. I posted this, but it was laughed at.
The reason O is being allowed to coach the rest of the season and hasn't been fired with cause is more than likely because that "cause" would be self incriminating to LSU. SW is handling a very delicate situation. The last thing you want to do is have a bad relationship with a man that's going to be put on the stand for possible Title 9 violations. The $17,000,000 is hush money.
This is all my opinion though, admins! Nothing to see here.

You lost me right here. Nobody is going to risk prison because of a perjury charge. If O takes the stand he will state the truth. The rest of your info makes sense though.
