They are saying that NW State will look to fill the HC position by the end of next week. If indeed Peveto is the man for the job, does Miles just go with Mallory as the lone DC for the bowl game?
If this happens and our D is solid in the bowl game, do you think there is a chance that Miles might just make Mallory the lone DC or do you think he has already made his mind up to make coach O, Robinson, Chevis, ????? the DC.
If so, do you guys think it would be a good idea to at least announce the replacement or just wait?

Just my opinion, but a new DC will be named after the bowl game and it wont be Mallory. Miles already has someone. Although he screwed up bigtime with Malveto, he has been on target with Pellini, Crowton and even keeping Jimbo around in transition.

pelini and jimbo were practically forced on miles. i think the jimbo hire was not a smart move. if he wanted a transition hire it should have been muschamp. lets keep in mind miles wanted to bring in bill clay so i am not going to assume he just gets this thing right.

its pretty well known that Mallory's been the real sole DC all year. Peveto just gets a pay raise and impressive looking title added to his resume because he beat Miles at dominoes.

yeah on the MSB the night they played Jimmy V's speech. One guy started a thread about "Dickie V's speech" and another came in and said he gives it every year.
