Seems Cristobal might be targeting him. Seems his entire career was in Texas.

Average recruiter and bad coach. He would get you into some conversations for recruits in Houston tho

Didn’t he do well as OC?

He did statistically well his one year at OC because he had Manziel and Evans and a beyond beastly offensive line. He was promptly demoted for Jake spavital

Is McKinney the one who came from a big high school in Houston and couldn't land any of the recruits from that school?

Yates doesn’t really produce a lot of talent

he's a decent coach. I was underwhelmed by his recruiting prowess but he will get you into some Houston areas.

we never recruited RB well under sumlin for some reason, maybe because of scheme.

He filters oxygen like a mother fricking champ. Don't let any of these nega-ags tell you different. Man is world class at bonding carbon atoms to oxygen molecules.

Good news is it looks like Rob Gould will be out first target. I don’t like your rushing production but that has to do with scheme and competition to an extent.

Sumlin saw him as an asset, so I’d assume he’s a good coach. To the fans he was invisible. Not much to report.

Sumlin saw B.J. Anderson and Aaron Moorehead as "assets". You can't seriously say with a straight face that either is considered a good coach.

He runs long developing passing routes. Which in a uptempo fast paced offense is not ideal. He also abandons the run game. The year he was OC, he still had most of the offense from the 2012 year. So the stats were more from their talent rather than his play calling. Furthermore, he gradually regressed by season's end.

He's a decent recruiter though. He might be better in the PAC 12. I really think the jury is still out on him despite what most Aggies think. He was better than the guy who replaced him.
