Ole Miss was one of only 5 schools to make a New Years 6 bowl game the first two years it existed under him.

Alabama, FSU, Michigan St and Ohio State were the other four.

Players love playing for Kiffin. When you have a group of guys that love playing for their coach anything is possible. He’s a great recruiter and developer and play caller. At LSU Lane would be one of the top coaches in the country.

He’d lock up the state. I would bet Elijah would be on board too (just my guess).

Does he not know that Freeze is still actively coaching in the SEC right now, and his current ability can be evaluated?

And how does that compare to what Ole Miss was before him?
Well, the school hadn't yet coordinated their NIL program. Does that answer your question? Then they handed him a nationally top 5 team....

Talking shite about an opposing coach at a division rival is not remotely the same as having the ability to recognize the outstanding job he's done turning that perennial loser around.

They believe that if a coach can turn OLE MISS into a consistent winner, he could oversee a dynasty at LSU
You don't think that's a stretch? He had an LSU type roster last year and lost at home to an underwhelming Kentucky. This board used to criticize him mightily

Kiffin would be a disaster.

Just like Ed O, would finally have reached the pinnacle of his profession dreams and go off and do a bunch of stupid shite.

and his dream job and pinnacle of his profession dreams was the USC job. it didnt work out.

LANE is a tool who has WON NOTHING. ED O won at Miami, USC and LSU. OLE PISS was a trash job, but now that LANE can BUY some players he can win a few games, BUT NOT the SEC... LANE HAS WON NOTHING EVER!!!!!!

OMs past has nothing to do with anything. They did a very good job of getting aligned on NIL early and have handed kiffin excellent rosters. You people are acting like this is part 2 of 1970s-1980s FSU. It's not.
