A Coach Other Teams Want to Have

I've said it before, and its still true - - you WANT to have a coach that other teams want/desire/envy. The minute you have the opposite, you're in big trouble.

That is why we need to have Saban back here. You always start searching with the best in the business. Leave personal feelings out of business decisions.

Besides Michigan and the obsurd cowboys talk, who else has wanted him?

Nobody wants Miles except for Michigan and that's because he played there. There have been a lot of coaching searches around the country since Miles has been at LSU. His name never comes up even in wild speculation like other coaches at big time programs.

Never said this was about Miles alone

agree...in fact that should be the #1 criteria for the search committee, to get a coach that will be hotly pursued every year.

You're right. Nobody in the country would want Les to coach their team!

Not many college teams would be considered a step up from LSU both prestige-wise and money-wise.
For coaches on the top echelon teams, I don't see a whole lot of teams making pushes for them unless their is some factor - like Saban to Penn State cause it's close to where he grew up.

Moron!
That is one of the more ridiculous statements I have ever heard! WOW and that is saying something on TD!
You want someone who WINS a lot and LOSES as few as possible while recruiting well!
As someone stated earlier, he has a top 5 Job, and top tier Money. Most know they don't have a shot!
And the fact that u have said this before and are willing to say it again speaks volumes!! Wow!
