2 things Lane has said in the last couple of days that were quite telling....

1) No starter on this Rebel team was here 2 years ago...
2) No player on offense is even from the State of Mississippi...
In other words...loyalty is no longer a thing, and signing decisions are made based on opportunity not proximity.....he is not leaving a bunch of Mississippi homer's who grew up wanting to go to Ole Miss...he is leaving a bunch of opportunists just like himself who should fully understand why he would go.....

Completely agree and one of the main arguments for the transfer portal has been "well coaches can leave at anytime without consequence".

May be a NIL deal in HS. That's why CLK is using the portal so much. NIL in MS doesn't bind kids like in La.
