It's a 2-way street. Tubs is not LSU's dream candidate. Too much bad blood.

LSU will be signing one of the top recruiting classes and as long as Les gets to a bowl game he will get at least one more year. He has to have an epic meltdown to lose his job after winning a mNC.

ALSO, I don't think Tubbs would be first in line. I think other coaches would be considered before him.

remember, he is not a great recruiter but is a super head coach other than that

..I say it's about 30% he ends up at A&M next year ...Sherman blows

0. If he does not go back to work next year I say he stays retired or does booth work.

ETA: I think that Miles has at least 2 seasons, if not 3, not matter what happens. He will not be fired after 2009. The only way he leaves is if RR leaves UM, which is very possible after next season. I really thought AU would go after RR but Chizk obviously has a better record as a HC over the years.

Coker was 60-15 when he was let go by Miami(FL).....think about that, 60-15, with a BCS (not a mNC as you suggest) championship, and three consecutive conference championships. EIGHTY PERCENT wins... not good enough for the U.

Wonder what they're thinking now....

says who?

i think yall vastly underestimate how hard it is to recruit to auburn with bama as the big brother

if i was at lsu, tubs would 10000000000000% be our next head coach

i was salivating at the thought of tubs when les was leaving, could you imagine what he would have done with our talent the past four years or so, good lord

thats just naive to say that

if miles sits on his arse, does nothing about dc, and has a 500 season or worse, you better believe that he will be canned due to his ego and ignorance

It will be Miles and if it's not, it will be Brian Kelly.

WTF? you dont need a link...just think back to when miles was hired! It was like hiring Mike gundy before you knew him from his rant( COME AT ME, IM 40, IM A MAN) last year.

I guess you failed to see what I quoted. I'm not talking about Miles.

Do you have a link?

If i had a say so at LSU, i would go to Pete Carol and ask if he wants a challenge as a coach. He could still recruit top notch talent but would have to put his reputation of a great coach up against the best week in and out. There is so much to sell him over USC; facilities, fans, competition, oposing coaches, confrence title game. USC is a great place to recruit (look at his track record) but LSU is no different with less travel time (Tx to Fla). Just my opinion, i would love to see him in the SEC and wouldn't mind him on our side.

Pete Carol is a bad coach. He should be in the championship every year. A school that sells itself and all the talent in the world don't make you a good coach.
