I just read a thread on it, there seems to be a lot of confusion on it, because Amazon is making this a global show/event/release.
It could be released as early as Thursday evening.

Aparrantly Amazon is also going to be releasing an animated short series outlining history and world in the series. I would guess that this probably includes a bunch of stories and stuff that are in the books but that we won't have time for in the show.

Yeah I posted that info in the S thread.
Looks like its going to be Age of Legends, Artur Hawking, Manetheren, that sort of thing.

I've been clicking through some of the red carpet streams - should be some good compilation vids, some interviews with smaller actors we haven't seen yet.

Seems like a good area to explain that the world was actually super advanced before the breaking of the world and Lews Theron went mad.

Ya - i know most people are waiting and hoping for the Dumais Wells scene, but my favorite and the one that always floored me was the Pillars of Rhuidean.
With the show being greenlit for Season 3, unless it bombs in Season 1/2 and they cancel that, should be guaranteed to at least see the waste plotline.
Dumais Wells will be Season 4, I'd assume the finale, based on my mapping out the story-line.

I'm reading Towers of midnight again keep finding the perrin / wolfdream / slayer sequences pretty annoying. I never really liked Perrin - at least he is being active now - but it's a combination of many books of perrin frustration and seeing him basically learn TAR which we have already seen a lot of chatlracters do and also not caring about slayer.
Think Perrin is definitely bottom of my EF5 ranking.
Also I had misrememebered some sequences of events in the Sanderson books. If we make it towards the end of the series, it it will be really cool to see Gathering Storm and Towers of Midnight set to run concurrently as originally intended. Sanderson did a good job of separating out the storyline when forced to make them two books. But I can see the second to last season taking up gathering storm and then 2/3 of Towers of midnight, culminating in zen rand and then him showing up for maradon for the most part. Would be cool to see maradon sort of shown as it is presented in the books as a running defense taking up 5 or 10 minutes for several episodes while we see Rands breakdown and confrontation with rand, losing all hope on multiple fronts.
