Some takeaways - the White Cloaks are going to be awesome I think. Definitely changes but looks like they burn an aes sedai, looks like one is collecting aes sedai rings - valda maybe? Definite implications for morgase storyline.
One of the trollocs on winternight looks way different
My fears about channeling looking stupid are pretty well abated at this point. Clearly we were only seeing spirit / air in the first trailer - one cut scene of logain looks awesome as well as the fireballs on wintersnight
All 5 Emond's Fielders are being viewed by Moiraine as the potential "dragon" - or at least that is what she says even if she only is really considering the boys - she only says "one of you five" which would still meet the oath of not ever telling a lie even if she just was manipulating nyn / egwene cause she saw their potential.
Oh ya and Fal Dara looks cool as shite.

I like the change to be honest. The Whitecloaks are kind of pathetic in the books. But how would a powerless Whitecloak bind an Aes Sedai, unless forkroot makes an early appearance?

I was thinking forkroot, but maybe they play up something to do with the oaths where she can't defend herself or maybe valda has a ter'angreal which can shield women without channeling or something.
And ya, I am loving all the whitecloak changes. I think they are going to be way more intimidating and scary given with the new costuming and more sinister appearance. Galad / Perrin storyline may be a little more meaningful overall in the back end if they pull sort of a coup on the whitecloaks.

Aiel are not how i pictured them with the white robes and veil but it makes way more sense for living in the waste than how I had envisioned them

I think so - has to be the elements of New Spring. I am thinking now we probably get some sort of flashback sequence middle season where Moiraine starts going more into the whole prophecy shite as we apparently are seeing her take the three oaths.

Ya, listening to Daniel Henney on the Dusty Wheel interview, him, Madeline madden and Zoe Robin's all discussed how quiet Lan was so sounds like him yelling isn't the norm.
They also talked about how the whole cast had really great chemistry which was good given how their characters interact in come cases. I assume that means Zoe and Daniel are banging offset as are Madeline and Joshua - really committing to the roles
