Has a fade with its mouth closed, if that is accurate - it looks much more human like with mouth closed and is much closer to how described in the books.

Oh shite - show is WAY darker than in the trailer and photographs released. The darkness is probably somewhat due to the compression being shown on a live stream. But I am glad it will likely be darker than the promotional images we have seen thus far.

That sceen, I am afraid, will be 1 of many that was rewritten unnecessarily and ruined much of the effort made in the first couple of chapters to establish the back-woods innocence of the 2 Rivers

Have they shows what the trollocs will look like?

I think it's just a time thing. They probably have about 40 minutes in the episode to set up two rivers aka Edmonds field, womens circle initiation shite likely, the main characters intros, relationships with each other and their families (at least for rand and Tam), I assume some fade creeping around stuff and then moiraine and Lan arive - moraine asking about the main characters, etc. before shite goes down on winternight.

I'm hoping they don't have to cut the farmhousea and scene but I think it probably won't be there, not sure where Fain will come into play, etc. Thom I'm pretty sure won't be introduced for a couple episodes - thinking after Shadar Logoth that he somehow falls in with Rand and Mat in some pit stop town.

I'd imagine they do a little post winternight battle falling action scene in episode 1 and then do getting horses, saying goodbye, rounding people up in like 15 or 20 minutes and then start the getting chased out of Two Rivers area sequences in episode two - I'm guessing they get through Taren Ferry in Episode 2.


I'm thinking this is probably just the best way for them to convey the apprehension and deference for aes sedai in a quick way. I didn't like the angle of the shot on the ring though, looked weird a couple little things that jumped out as a bit odd. I did like seeing Rand and Perrin interacting, felt pretty natural. Liked Nyn jumping up and confronting when they entered and then Moiraine just cruising past ignoring her, liked seems like a lot of those little character hints feel in line with the book vibes.
