Doubt they will do anything worthwhile for Jordancon, way too small of a venue for a production of this size. I mean MAYBE a picture or something.

They won't do anything geared at general public, but I feel like they will absolutely put out some more tidbits and discussions that the existing fans can enjoy.

You can't even buy tickets to it. What a joke. I read all of the books in 2020, and I was hoping to make the drive but didn't realize how "exclusive" it was going to be.

So the shitty production company that *technically* still owns some of the rights to WOT that the Jordan estate sued and settled with in order to make the show at Amazon...
Hired a writer to write a Trilogy of movies based on the Age of Legends. No studio is attached and it has no affiliation with the Amazon show. Word behind the scenes is the Amazon crew is pissed as hell about it, as is Jordan's estate.

I assume they were trying to ride coattails and obligate Amazon or someone else to pick it up.

Jordan Con today and tomorrow.
I SERIOUSLY doubt there will be anything worthwhile, but at least one person associated with the show, Sarah Nakumura, will be there.
I guess we will see. Maybe they throw a very small bone to the fans.

I think several of the show youtubers are there and have opportunity to ask questions and all that so should get some good info like that.

Filming of Season 2 started today.

WOT officially announced start of filming today on S2. So we know we are getting two seasons.
It also leaked that the budget of S1 is likely well above 100 mill. And Amazon built a massive studio just for WOT in the Czech Republic called Jordan Studios.
I imagine we will get some leaks on s2 castings like Elayne and Gawyn pretty soon but nothing official until after s1 airs.

Ya I remember speculation of $15 million per episode which would be about $120 million total. One of the biggest reasons I have pretty high hopes, they seem to be doing almost everything right for a solid effort based on what I've heard so far.

Amazon has been promoting Rafe's appearance at ComicCon@Home which will be broadcast on Youtube...so I have some mild hope that we get something relatively interesting.

The girl playing Elayne almost certainly leaked. She has been spotted with the cast and has let some little hints leak.
