What’s your devotional of choice/Bible reading plan for 2021?

I’m doing the ESV chronological schedule and using the Book of Common Prayer for other Scriptures and prayers.
I see my wife is currently reading the New Morning Mercies devotional by Paul David Tripp.
I encourage everyone to stick to something. I usually fail, but I’m trying again. Whatcha got?

I don't have a plan, but I enjoy studying books of the bible and often go on rabbit trails to topical studies where I am led.
Some of my favorite authors or commentators include G Campbell Morgan, MR Dehaan, Perry Stone, Chuck Missler, Robert Morris/Jimmy Evans. I also enjoy the Hebraic Perspective from sites like Hebrew4Christians to get a deeper understanding of biblical roots.
Using Strong's Concordance word references from the bible often seem to lead to strong insight into other parts of Scripture that connect things that I would not have known from a transliteration/translation to English.

This is a great book, but probably shouldn't be your main daily reading. Add it to a devotional reading schedule.

Use the 1928 BCP. The yearly cycle we're following began First Sunday in Advent in December.
My BCP is combined with a KJV & Apocrypha so KJV.
If I'm studying something particular or particular books I'll compare different versions.

My wife got me Jesus Calling for Christmas and will probably do a New Testament reading plan this year. Just can’t get myself to read through Kings & Chronicles again

Try getting something like this to help with stuff that's tough to get through. It'll bring meaning and livelihood to what seems hopelessly boring and irrelevant.

I use an app called You Version.
I do the Bible in a year with devotions by an English pastor named Nicky Gumbel

The Bible Recap by D group is a good one. It's on the You version app. It's a chronological reading that takes 365 days. I enjoy it. It's cool to as how the Psalms line up with the other Old Testament books and then how Acts spreads through Paul's letters. Highly recommend.

Most important books of my life I recommend are "The God Shaped Brain" by Timothy R Jennings. Has a few others to. Helped me really get back to God after being misled about Him before fully reading the Bible last year and taking it in with so much love.
Currently "Conversations about God" by Graham Maxwell with Louis Venden...amazing...just...super clarifying . Especially when it comes to the misuse of words. And really explain the old Testament in a understanding light.
And re reading again the Bible but The Remedy translation gospels as well, from start to finish because reading it as a whole really clears things up.
