Whats some good western or mountain man books you would recommend ?

I love to read my kindle when i go to bed. Partial to westerns, whats some good ones you read.

L'Amour is formulaic but I love the Sackett books. They cover early US colonization through some mountain man stuff and into western. Follows one family.
