Anyone read this before? I’m curious to hear other people’s thoughts.

I was reading it and need to pick it up again. I like a lot of his thoughts on meditation and consciousness. I’ve mainly done vipassana / mindfulness meditation in the past, and his style is a bit different. That being said, it’s a little “woowoo” at times.
I enjoyed just reading a section or two a day and letting it sort of guide my thinking for the day.

I purchased the physical copy on the recommendation of a friend but I ended up checking out the audiobook from Libby and have been listening to it the past few days.
I agree it’s a bit woo woo at times. Like how did he survive when he sat on a park bench for 3 years?
But a lot of it has resonated with me. I received a text that would normally have annoyed me yesterday but I just thought “oh well” and moved on. It’s liberating to realize how stupid the things that I let bother me are.
It seems like one of those books you’d need to re-read every few years to remind yourself of the principles. I’m glad you got something out of it, too.

I found the audiobook to be way more digestible. Seemed like every sentence in the book had something “important” to understand so I couldn’t read through it with any normal speed.
Lots of good practical and applicable concepts that you can use in daily life.
I can see how it’s not for everyone, but I think it would benefit the bulk of society.

Many times. Mentioned it another thread. I did a search on TD and Eckhart Tolle to see if any of you ever read anything like this before I was shocked to find some of you have.
Anyways, I got into his work around 2018 and it has profoundly changed my life.

What’s your favorite of his books? I’m going to tackle A New Earth when I’ve made it through the library books I’ve had in my queue.
