Always thought this would make for an incredible film. Maybe a standalone novelization of this one event in Arda's history will justify such a decision.

Definitely going to pick this one up. It's one of my favorite places and stories from the Silmarillion. I've always wanted to see the main characters fleshed out more.

It looks like Alan Lee did the Illustrations. Hopefully there are a lot. that guy is amazing. he did all of the concept art for the LOTR and Hobbit movies.
