I have a long to be read list. What's that Japanese term where you buy so many books that you'll never read them all in your lifetime?

I read it based on this original post. I enjoyed it. Pretty long book but had good pace and well sequenced out. Kept me interested the whole time and had a good ending I really didn’t see coming.

What did you make of the characters? I didn’t like any or them but it takes a turn and my sympathies creep up on me. Didn’t think I’d get to sucked into it with the modern writing style as an easy millennial write off, but I felt it got better and matured the deeper you get into the story.

Thoughts?

I haven't read it but I checked Goodreads and it has a 3.88 rating. Not stellar for GR.
