Gave up on Patterson as he's been mass producing for the past few yrs. Also question how much of his books are "his" vs ghost writers he's been using. Give me Harlen Cobin, G. Isles...the Reacher series... any time.

I never like Patterson’s voice to begin with but the first couple/few Alex cross books were good.
But now the Guy’s a straight sellout. He doesn’t write a damn word anymore just slaps his name on the stuff. It’s good for the newer authors who get to say they wrote a book with him, but I hate he gets paid for it.
