Done with The Haunting of Hill House. I’m going to give horror a little break, now, and read a Thomas Jefferson biography. Need to rinse a bit of the monotony from my brain.

Coffin Moon by Keith Rosson is fricking awesome. The best vampire book I have ever read.

Got hung up with Lovecraft and stopped reading for about a month. Picked it up and finished, finally, and I’m back at it again.
For an author with the reputation of Lovecraft, I was very disappointed. It’s like he had a template, and he used it for all of his stories. The only exception was the title story, or I would have rated it below a 2.

I’d call it fantasy horror, with horror being secondary.
