Help finding a book

Does anyone have any tips/tricks for finding books no longer in print? I’m looking for a copy of Grandma Raised the Roof by Ethel McCully for a Mother’s Day present. I’ve checked amazon, eBay, cursory google search, St. John facebook pages (book is about someone building a home on St. John) with no luck. A library nearby has a copy, I may have to just get mom a library card as a gift.

for a book as rare as this one appears to be, it might be worth it to just take it from the library that you know has it and pay them whatever the fee is for never returning a book.

Maybe ask the library? Stealing is never a good thing.

That site leads you to another , which says “no longer available”.

I appreciate it. I actually checked that sight yesterday. Was excited when I first saw it.

Contact the publisher if they are still in business.
