I liked Iron Druid but it fizzles towards the end. Have you listened to Gentlemen Bastards?
ETA: Harry Dresden

Oh and I also am doing a re read of Lord of the Rings since I saw they have Andy Serkis as the new narrator. He’s pretty damn good too
I'm 49 and have read LOTR every year since I was 22. Two of those years, I've done the audiobooks, and this year was one of them, due to the new Serkis audio.
Serkis does all the voices himself, and if you want an honest review, he doesn't do the female voices well (but then again, there's not a lot of them in LOTR), and I'm not a fan of what he does with the elvish voices.
But he's simply incredible in the way he does the hobbits. Serkis spent enough time in New Zealand with the four actors playing Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippen that you'd swear it's actually them.
And, of course, there's Gollum, which is naturally amazing.
It's a good listen.

anything by Guy Gavriel Kay is worth checking into.
I've never listened to any of Kay's books. I've read Tigana, Sailing to Sarantium, Lord of Emperors, and A Song for Arbonne.
What's another one that you've listened to and enjoyed the audiobook?

The Lions of Al-Rassan, Under Heaven, and A Brightness Long Ago were great listens. Most of his are read by Simon Vance, which is a sign of quality to me as Vance is one of the best narrators out there.

Have you looked at David Eddings….his work is kind of like Terry Brooks stuff easy but fun reading.
The Belgariad
The Mallorean
The Elenium
Those three sagas are his best work. There is also The Tamuli which is a sequel to the Elenium. The Mallorean is a sequel to The Belgariad.

Spellmonger by Terry Mancor
30 book series and he is on book 15. He has been churning out a major book a years with some novellas each year. He has also partnered with another writer to take some of the interesting characters and write side novels without the larger universe. Its a very interesting series.

My favorite audio book of all time is American Gods. Really well done. They used several actors and they were all great.
