Just watched them all. Pretty cool. If he's alive that'll be nuts

I wish. The only thing we have to read, to me, is this board. I've read the novellas.

Martin is too busy eating crepes, baguettes, and mussels right now.

I like the theory. There are a few of the pieces that I had put together in my crackpotting, but never on this scale. And I never once thought about the Brave Companions as being anything but what they were portrayed to be. Never thought of Quentyn being alive either. I almost hope that part is true, because it would ake all of the Quentyn chapters not such a waste.

Just realized Lena was in that mid 90s Disney live action Jungle Book movie. Mind=blown. I can't be the only one who remembers watching this as a kid.

They does not look like her

Wow, that was her?! I actually like that movie.
So, back on the Dorne thing, you ever see one of these crackpot theories come out, go back and read it again and think, "how was I that fricking thick to miss that"?
I think the theory that Alleras is actually Oberyn's daughter Sarella is dead on. Hell, that may be one that was well known and I had just somehow missed it. Aside from Alleras being Sarella spelled backwards, there are lots of hints if you're looking for them like how good "he" is with a bow and:
"...said Alleras with one of his soft smiles. The Sphinx was always smiling, as if he knew some secret jape. It gave him a wicked look that went well with his pointed chin, widows peak, and dense mat of close-cropped jet-black curls."
There's lot more in the prologue for feast, all pointing to Alleras being Sarella. Again, probably old news, but I never picked up on it.

I don't know why, but that movie strangely pops into my head once a month.
But my mind is blown as well.

Every now and then I think about that movie but I haven't watched it since 1998 or so. No idea if it's even available on DVD or BluRay.

That movie sucked compared to the cartoon but the cartoon is my all time favorite

I just had one issue with the mirri maz dur part, didn't she say in the book she did it on purpose because of what happened to her people, or am I confusing it with the show?

It's a very interesting series of videos. The guy crammed too much into parts 3 and 4 for me to keep it and really understand what he was saying.
All it really proves is that I was not paying enough attention in these last two books because I feel like I've missed a ton, especially in ADWD.
Then again, it doesn't matter how much we know from the books, with all of these theories and cool storylines that people have figured out..because the show is not going to cover it.
Well, I say that but what if they were steaming through some of these storylines to make room for more Dorne and Essos in later seasons and play up this Dornish vs. Illyrio rivalry??
