He can easily tie it up in 7. White Walkers have to emerge and Dany needs to be near Westeros by the end of Winds. Every player will be in place if that happens.

If he's writing like he did in the first three books he can. If he's writing like he did in the last two he won't be able to. Dany will need to be in Westeros at the end of WOW in order for him to be done in 7, if she's merely near I don't see it happening.

He was developing new locations and characters, most of the olds were killed off, in 4&5. Next two books will be blood and guts then some traveling to Westeros

At this point I just want Dany to die.

I know.
He really needs to die too.

I still think it's Victarion's purpose, as well as his strong hand, to deliver a gruesome death to Daario. It just has to be.

Just for the sake of discussion, what does everyone seem to think goes down at the LSH, Jaime, and Brienne meeting? The only thing I can think of is that either Sansa or Arya shows up to stop her revenge. I really don't think Jaime's story ends there.

I hope not but I could see Catelyn forcing Brienne to kill Jamie

I'm not sure what the rules are for used to be bad guys now turned good. He did cripple a kid so maybe his death isn't guaranteed.

We need George to publish some kind of karmic retribution scale he uses in the books. Then we could quick reference these scenarios.

No way that Jaime dies that early on in TWoW.

I think it more likely that Brienne dies for Jaime somehow and that Cersei is to blame adding more reason for Jaime to kill her. As a POV character, her usefulness is reaching its end.
LSH will take out Walder Frey, though. As for Dany, I still think that they have stops to make in Valyria and Braavos, but they'll make it to Westeros by the end of TWOW.

Is this before or after he learns piano, moves to New Orleans, and becomes a fisherman on a Vietnamese shrimp boat?

One more that's been bothering me. If Jaqen is in fact Syrio, who was he in King's Landing to kill? Him leaving would dictate that it had to be either Ned or Robert, as they both died while he was in the city. They are also of a level that a Faceless Man would be worth the money spent. Am I missing another possible target that died?

I think Jamie offers access to, or the death of,Lord Frey, and Cat accepts. It's the only thing I can think of that he has to offer.
I don't know how since that old coot never lives his castle, but maybe he will if at a Lannisters request.
ETA: Totally agree with Victarion being the demise of Darrio. Victarion is very Khal Drago like, IMO, so Dany's going to love him, and he'll bring her army back across the sea.

I get the impression Jamie is over dealing with frey's anyway.

And how soon does Arya get back to Westeros, and how? Her sample chapter convinced me she'll head back within the first 1/2 of Winds.

Jon Arryn
which is why when they brought up sending a faceless man to kill Dany LF knew how much it would cost because he most likely hired Jaqen to kill Jon Arryn
