Looking for a new book and a lot of folks on reddit are suggesting it's the most laugh out loud funny book they've ever read/listened to. Did a search but doesn't show any results. Just wondering if anyone had an opinions on it.

It's on my TBR list. Martin, Rothfuss, and Lynch have taught me not to start a fantasy trilogy until all three books are published.

Haven't really heard anything about it, but kinda like Adajax I don't really start unfinished series these days unless they are on Kindle unlimited. And just looking him up on Goodreads, first book in 2021 and second book not out yet midway through 2024 would make me definitely wait.

It is a good read. Stands fine on its own, so I wouldn't wait for all trilogy to be available before starting it.

This is a prequel to Book #1. So we get a prequel before Book #2. Doesn't sound like good planning.

Ah, you're right. I read "The Blacktongue Thief (2 books)" as the second book.

I liked it. Beuhlman is a very good writer. His horror books are well done, too.

Read it after seeing this. It was a fun well done book. It was humorous but certainly not close to the funniest book I have ever read. Don't think I had any laugh out loud moments.

I read the first book a while back. I remember liking it but now I think I'd have to reread it to finish the series
