Apparently Harry Potter alternative universe with Malfoy as a female has blown up

Social media (x, Instagram and reddit) has exploded in the las month with AI and anime with Draconia/Dracena Malfoy (or Galfoy or Malfoid) as the same antagonist of Harry who develops into a love interest and secret ally.
Certainly an interesting concept. Some are a simple swap of Draco with the remainder of the story/characters essentially intact (obviously with the ramifications of the Potter-Malfoy relationship). Others change a number of the characters/background (for example, no Jenny Weasley).

Ginny was lazy and JK admitted her mistake in later years.
Malfoy actually does a character turn when he realizes he can't kill Dumbledore and doesn't out harry at the mansion.
He doesn't want to admit it... and still tries to play it cool when back at school with his buddies, but he isn't the dirtbag his early character arc suggested.
The whole... make it a love interest is a bit much.
He and his badass mom walking away while his weasel dad scampers behind them was a good, fitting ending.

I prefer the original as well. I only brought it up because it is an interesting idea.

If you want a high quality alternative universe Harry Potter written by an actual person and not AI might I suggest Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality. It is excellent.
