Are the books any good? The show was gratingly irritating and spent four seasons on the cusp of being interesting.

The books are fantastic, but I think the show is pretty fantastic as well and liked it prior to reading the books (which I like even better).

Love the books. Didn’t care for the TV show. Quite after a season and a half.

I'll be picking up my pre-ordered copy at Barnes and Noble today. Once I finish with Wisdom of Crowds, I'll be diving into this one.

Better than the show though the show is a pretty good adaptation

Show makes Holden too emo though

My main issue is that each book has new POV characters. It detracts from continuity for me. Other than that I really enjoyed these

There’s a couple of new ones in the final book. About halfway done and it’s been quite good.

I finished the new book, and it was excellent. One of the best in the series. I thought this was the final book, but there is a new one slated for next year I believe.

Yeah, it was a solid ending to the series for sure, fitting all around. The epilogue made me laugh, was perfect for that character.

And looking it up, guess there is a collection of all the short stories coming out in March, with one new story set after the last book.

I’m slogging my way through Cibola Burn - the first 3 we’re really good but I’m having a tough time with this one.

Cibola Burn was by far the worst book of the series
But the next one, Nemesis Games is one of the best.

Just finished the last, and yes, like all great series, it was a bittersweet goodbye.
