What are his best books?
Recently finished 1Q84 and can't remember many other stories that completely draw you into another world like his writing style.

Try the Wind Up Bird Chronicle. But all of his books are very good.

Bought this with one of my credits. I saw that it may be an easier jump-in point than some of the others.

Kafka on the Shore is also good. Norwegian Wood and Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki are also interesting. He simply goes places few other authors go.
