I forgot about Dead Solid Perfect. It is hilarious. I may go back and reread it...

Not sure on a top 3, but I can say that Confederacy of Dunces is one of the few books that had me literally laughing out loud. Not chuckling but full on belly laughing.

I will go with some lesser known ones.

Christopher Moore's Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal

I laughed my arse off throughout that entire book.

A more baton rouge local one is "The Worthy: A Ghost Story" By Will Clarke

It takes place at LSU and is really funny in a college humor kind of way.
