Pussy pill head coach couldn't get it done with Saints so he abandons them and wants to go to a team with an already developed QB. Surprised? Not really.

Isn’t he the same QB he had a chance to draft and instead took Davenport???!

He is a coaching free agent, why wouldn't he say that? And why would he not go to a team with a good QB. He has earned it. If you disagree, watch when he takes the Chargers job next year. NFL is littered with coaching casualties who had crap QBs. Look no further than the two coaches already fired this year

Is Payton that great of a coach?? Couldn't win without Brees, and even with some of the best offenses in New Orleans, we had NFL historic bad defenses. SO many wasted yrs with Payton, frick him!!

Payton wants a qb that will make him look good.

Then why did he trade up and draft Davenport when Lamar was available? Payton is a great play caller but he can't develop quarterbacks.
