"I decided to postpone last night's game." More like the players, and coaches, refused to continue like nothing happened. I would be surprised if next week's game is not affected. They are in no shape for game prep.

The league still has to declare postponement. Sure players and coaches alike can do whatever they choose to do but if it isn't official then there would be forfeiture.
