I’ve seen better plane tickets in the quad

These are nonstop flights, Not direct flights. I used to work for Delta. A non stop flight goes from Atlanta to Honolulu without stopping. A direct flight is from Atlanta to Honolulu with a stop in los Angeles. Going that "direction".

Too bad there’s no other cities close to Philly that their fans can fly out of... Seriously, you can find $400 round trip tickets and the quality suites is less than half this price. It’s the tickets to the game that get you but you can easily get there and party.

Normal fans were priced out of the Super Bowl about 50 years ago

Heh, just “kind of” insane? No, that’s definitely outrageous unless you make 6 figures or just won the Powerball. I’d rather watch at home on my HD TV that pay those shite prices.

I make well into the six figures and I assure you that $700 Ramada inn nights, $2000 plane trips, and $5000 super bowl tickets are things I can’t afford. That’s a $20000 trip for two.

I think the inflation rates are so wrong to take advantage of fans

If people are willing to pay these rates, then there is a market. It sucks for people on business to Minneapolis this week, unless their company has some sort of contracted rate with a hotel or its chain.
