this will help a little, but the brain still bounces around the skull on big hits. As another poster mentioned, the better solution is going back to leather helmets.

I'd rather look silly than have issues down the road, I don't blame him. I cut my grass with a mask, look like a total idiot but I'm not sneezing the next two days.

Take off the helmets and guys will stop spearing every time they zero in on the ball carrier. Even though all football players are taught from a young age to tackle with their heads up, and to never use the top of the helmet to tackle, they continue to do it all the way into the NFL. Game would be safer without all the armor.

I'd rather look "dumb" than have my brain turned to mush w CTE.
Running backs get hit a lot, it makes a lot of sense.
