Beach pictures always make people look worse than they actually are. Maybe it's due to the light from the sun from above and the light bouncing back up off the sand and water washing out the colors in a picture. It washes out the shadows of muscle definition and makes people look out of shape when they really aren't. It's something I've noticed.
