J.J. Watt Leading The Charge To Bring NHL Team To Houston?
Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports
Houston Texans star DE J.J. Watt is a Wisconsin boy who wants to bring an NHL team to Houston...
quote:

“Maybe we could get an NHL team here,” Watt said, via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. “I’d love to get in on that.”
Why not? I can see him making this happen. Check him out hitting this penalty shot...

you Houston baws can get ready because it's comin. Dallas billionaire bought the Carolina Hurricanes recently. That's his long-term play, to get them to Houston. There's a restriction on how quickly a new owner can move a franchise though, so it may be a few years.

I'll second SomeLSUguy. The Aeros were an absolute blast to go and watch. Inexpensive tickets, hard hitting and fast. I was not pleased when they announced their relocation.

If Vegas can embrace a hockey team, any US city can.

Why? Already have a hockey team that no one goes to see.

... if you're referring to the Aero's, they left about a decade ago... And I went to see them, best $4 you could spend on a weeknight for some fun in the city!
