Remember Jeremy Shockey...

Well the former Saints and Giants tight end was interviewed by the FBI about his connection with former USC player Owen Hanson, who has been accused of running an international drug and gambling ring. Shockey's quotes were classic. Per New York Post...
quote:

“I thought he was in the real-estate business like me,” Shockey told The Post. “I’m a straight businessman. I don’t hang out with drug dealers or prostitutes. I’m here with my girlfriend making out, and I get a knock on my door from these agents. I said to them, ‘Come on in. I got nothing to hide.’”

“We met when I passed out at a pool party in Vegas — from dehydration. He came to Miami all the time. I treated him like a friend. I let him stay at my house. He loved to surf. We’d go to the gym together. We went to the same parties together.

He added: “I’m a drunk — I’m Irish. I’ve never had anything to do with drugs. And I would never do anything illegal to jeopardize what I’ve worked for.”

Shockey is/was an a-hole in person from a few counts I've heard (none personally experienced by myself). He was doing a $100 per autograph session at Mike's Den in Mandeville and was really rude and mean to the kids/guests who waited in line a long time. He took a long break in the back room eating some chinese that was delivered and supposedly he didnt like the food so he knocked it off the table onto the ground. Owner got in an argument with him for staying in the back so long while everyone was waiting in line.
